Corramos Por El Lago
Students in AMA’s first ever primary running club ran in Panajachel’s 2017 Corramos Por El Lago. This was a wonderful opportunity, club students in grades K-6 ran their first ever 5K race.
Photos show just a few of this spring’s project based learning activities. In high school science classes, students researched the scientific effects behind pollution in our Lake Atitlan. The high school geometry class focused on a project titled, The Art of Triangles, while kindergarten focused on a social studies project discussing issues facing local animals.
