AMA is staffed by local volunteer teachers as well as those from around the world. Teachers are paid a stipend to cover their living expenses in Guatemala – around $650 per month. This amount is enough to sustain cost of living and some travel in Guatemala. We accept resumes all year – please check our listings on Idealist for the current openings or contact the office to let us know you’re interested in teaching.
